| It can be seen that the Core Conversion selection window offers a variety of core selections to choose from. There are three types of laminations, five types of tape cores, two types of powder cores, and twelve types of ferrites. If a manufacturer comes out, for example, with a new lamination core, the engineer would enter the mechanical dimension, then, save it. This data can now be used on the next design. |
